This book is a classical book for all students who want to understand the subject of electronic devices and circuits.I found this book very helpful in understanding each and every concept and insight of the subject, everything is clearly explained. There are solved examples with each topic and spice examples&exercices with some design exercises are also given at the end of each chapter.
Alot of data with no explanation

This book was the primary text for my Electronics I and II classes as an electrical engineer. It has all the formulas needed to evaluate and create circuits using bjt and fet transistors along with a great deal of other information. What it lacks though is any attempt to instill an understanding of the behavior of the circuit.
At a college level, doing any kind of work should be more than regurgitating formulas on a test form, it should be evaluating the behavior of the elements and how they are working together. If you want to learn how to solve for values in a circuit outlay this book is great, if you actually want to understand the outlay, find something else to teach you.
